Juan Carlos' Beatles Comic Strip
Juan Carlos Mazas de Lizana Botella is a Spanish Beatles fan, Real Madrid supporter and computer whizzkid in addition to being a very talented cartoonist. For some years now he has been working on a brilliant "Beatles Story in Comic Strip" which you will find on the website below. Each chapter contains 20 pages of meticulously researched drawings which are a real delight. This is his cartoon version of Geoff Rhind’s famous photo just to give you a flavour of his work.
So far Juan Carlos has completed eight chapters - up to and including the recording of “Please, please me” - and is working on Chapter 9. It takes him a long time and he explains how he does it on his website. Make sure you click on the ticket printed in English or you’ll get the Spanish version!
